How we handle what you paste, what we keep, and for how long.
If a tool says Runs in your browser above its input, the work happens on your computer. The tool processes your text or files locally, without sending that input to our servers. Those tools accept up to 100 MiB of input.
Some tools still need the server. Your input is held only while the run is in progress and removed when it finishes. The result stays for at most 24 hours so you can download it, behind a hashed key that other people cannot reach. We do not read it and we do not reuse it. While it exists, it sits in the EU. Server tools accept up to 20 MiB.
You do not need an account to run a public tool, so most visits leave nothing behind on our servers.
Tools remember the settings you last chose, such as numbers, dates and picked options, so they are filled in when you come back. They are saved in this browser on this device and are not sent to us. Text you paste, files and anything that looks like a password or key are never saved. Saved settings are deleted after 30 days without a visit.
Under a tool's form, Forget clears what that tool saved. The button below clears it for every tool.
Copy link with these inputs puts your settings in the link itself. Anyone you send it to can see them, and the page removes them from the address bar once it opens.
Public tools always send a small first-party execution-health record to ToolkitBay. It contains the tool, outcome, duration, status, and a short safe error sample when a run fails. It does not contain tool inputs, outputs, filenames, or search text.
Cookies handle sign-in. Browser storage keeps your display preferences and the tool settings described above.
